Insurance We Accept

At Bright Start Pediatrics, we participate in many managed care plans and see patients with traditional insurance. Many plans require that you make a copayment at the time of your visit, and or may require that you receive authorization from them before you visit our office for the first time. Since each insurance plan and benefits differ, we do ask that you please check with your insurance carrier so that you can receive the complete benefits from your coverage. To make it as easy as possible for you, we accept cash, checks, and most major credit cards.

*We also have trained in-house specialists who can answer many of your insurance questions or assist if you have general questions or concerns.

Our practice accepts most insurance plans! Call today if you have questions 269.818.0070

Before You Come In

Before coming in for your appointment, here are a few things to remember:
If you’re a new parent, let your insurance company know there’s a new addition to the policy. We need to have your updated insurance information before your initial visit to check your eligibility. Please remember that you must bring your insurance card to each visit. If your policy requires you to choose a Primary Care Provider, please select either Dr. Amy Beck, or Dr. Dawn Rosser, and Kathy Carlson FNP-BC

*Co-payments and balances are due at time of service. We require 24-hour notice for changes or cancellations. If you miss an appointment without a 24 hours’ notice, you may be billed a no-show fee of $50.00

Your Policy, Your Responsibilities
It is always the patient’s (or parent’s) responsibility to know your policy and what it includes. For example, some programs require you to: Select a Primary Care Physician, follow a certain immunization schedule, add children to the policy within a certain period after they’re born, or reach various deductibles before they pay 100% on your medical claims. These are NOT Bright Start Pediatric's regulations; they are your insurance company’s requirements, and unless you follow them carefully, the insurance company may deny all or part of your claim. We do our best to comply with any such requirements, but if we provide a service that your policy does not cover, you will be responsible for the appropriate fees.
